At the 2008 Constructing Excellence North East Awards in Newcastle,
our work in developing the guidelines
‘School Design: Optimising
the Internal Environment’ for Scottish government won the
CIBSE Building Services Best Practice Award. .
We’re also proud of our team’s professional achievements:
In July 2007 Katherine Jackson, engineering ambassador, was
presented with the
Steve Tebb Award for Excellence in Schools
Outreach by the ICE South East England South Branch. The award
was presented for her outstanding commitment to promoting civil
engineering as a profession.
Our highways team’s work on passive safety was acknowledged at the
Highways Magazine Awards for Excellence where we were awarded the
Consultant of the Year Award in 2005.
