Kerry Schofield is a Senior Policy Researcher, with over 6 years'
experience in public sector research. Kerry has considerable
experience in consulting with disability groups and equality
representative organisations. She has recently project managed and
been involved in several projects in the equalities field having
designed and completed Stage One Equality Impact Assessments for
Bristol City Council, London Underground and London Borough of
Waltham Forest. These studies focused on likely consequences, both
positive and negative, of proposed developments and ways in which
to maximise equality of outcomes. In her previous position with
SQW, Kerry project managed an analysis of Independent Living for
the Office of Disability Issues. This report was published in 2007
and looked at a variety of issues facing people with physical and
learning disabilities.

Jo Baker is a Chartered Transport Planner with almost 20 years’
experience in transport consultancy. He has worked extensively for
the Department for Transport, the Highways Agency, regional
government, local authorities and private sector clients. He acted
as Project Director for a DfT study exploring accessible coaches
and accessible private hire vehicles and also for a study piloting
approaches to the assessment of accessibility in the transport
sector, undertaking case studies in Devon and
Nottinghamshire.

Senior manager with over 13 years’ experience in the transport and
logistics industry, working within Central Government and blue chip
organisations. Key strengths lie in strategic transport policy
development and organisational change management. Led a number of
projects focused on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Experienced client project manager, having delivered two
multi-million pound government funded transport studies and
recently managed a major study relating to possible airport
expansion in the south east of England.
Technical experience includes transport policy development,
transport surveys, travel planning, impact assessment, report
writing, traffic modelling, data analysis and media training.

Over ten years’ experience in socio-economic and crime analysis and
research, in both the academic and commercial sectors. Project
manager on a range of performance management projects, linking
crime and socio-economic data to policy needs. As sub-regional
crime data co-ordinator for the Merseyside Crime and Disorder
Reduction Partnerships, provide advice and guidance to a range of
community safety practitioners and analysts.
